The 2015 Range Rover is the flagship SUV in Land Rover's lineup, offering some of the best on-road and off-road capability money can buy. Now in its fourth generation, this high-end 5-passenger SUV boasts sleek design, a lightweight aluminum body and sophisticated safety and technology systems. While the Range Rover's ability to roam to the ends of the Earth are renown, most surprising is its exceptional comfort and abundant power from a supercharged V6 or V8. Available in standard- or long-wheelbase form and spanning from an $84,000 "base" model to a $200,000 4-wheel-drive yacht, this British luxury SUV easily matches or bests rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and Lexus LX. However, the Range Rover has yet to attain its rivals' resale values.
Driving the Used 2015 Land Rover Range Rover
On the highway, Range Rover's ultimate SUV is as hushed and controlled as a luxury sedan. Off the asphalt, this brute has the ability to scale small mountains and claw its way over craggy paths. And it can do this, all within the supple confines of a leather-laden cocoon. Though most drivers probably won't take advantage of the Range Rover's extreme off-road abilities or use its adjustable ground clearance to wade through nearly three feet of water, this SUV has the capability to push far beyond civilization. In the urban jungle where most Range Rovers roam, its ride is so refined that you'll think you're in a luxury sedan. Supercharged V8 models are very fast, with the ability to leap to 60 mph in just 5.1 seconds. More efficient V6 models can do that in only a couple of seconds more. Despite its tall profile, the Range Rover is utterly stable in corners.

At 196.8 inches in length – shorter than a full-size sedan – a standard-wheelbase (SWB) Range Rover is relatively easy to maneuver. Long-wheelbase (LWB) models are stretched to 204.7 inches. Beneath the paint, this generation Range Rover is the first to use an aluminum unibody structure. The lightweight metal has helped this SUV shed up to 700 pounds versus the previous generation.

The 2015 Land Rover Range Rover comes in four main trims: Range Rover, HSE, Supercharged and Autobiography. Even in "base" form this SUV offers much, as should be expected from its $84,000-plus price tag. Beyond its on-road refinement and off-road hardware, this 4-wheel-drive luxury SUV includes leather interior, power tailgate, rearview camera, xenon headlights, 19-inch wheels and hard-drive navigation system. Entertainment is brought by a 380-watt/13-speaker Meridian audio system with 8-inch touch screen. HSE models include heated and cooled front seats, panoramic roof, larger wheels and a soft door-closing feature. Supercharged and Autobiography models include the supercharged V8 engine and further amenities.

Options for the Range Rover are abundant. For around $2,000, the Vision Assist package adds a surround-camera system, blind-spot monitoring and the Terrain Response 2 system. Higher-grade versions of the Meridian audio systems equal sonic bliss. The new Driver Assistance Package with lane-departure warning and traffic-sign recognition to warn you of speed limits and road information is standard on Autobiography models and optional on others. Back-seat bliss can be had with heated and cooled seats with massage, center-console cooler and dual-screen entertainment system. Those who wish to take their 6-figure SUV off-roading may opt for a locking differential on the V8 supercharged model.

The 510-horsepower supercharged 5.0-liter V8 makes this Range Rover faster than many sports cars, though it has an appetite for premium-grade gasoline. With either engine the Range Rover is rated to tow 7,716 pounds. Both have a defeatable engine start/stop feature that ekes out better fuel economy. Land Rover has announced that a 3.0-liter turbodiesel Range Rover will arrive in the U.S. for the 2016 model year. It is said to be 32 percent more fuel-efficient than the current gasoline V6.

Since the first day our General Manager arrived here in October 0f 2014, we have done things differently here at Midway Auto Group.

Up front pricing
All of our cars have the year, price, mileage and options marked on the vehicle. This allows you to drive through the lot and compare vehicles without having to go inside the dealership and ask for information.
Low prices
This one was Chris's cornerstone from the start. Everyone loves saving money, so he decided that we could sell more cars for less money and everyone would be happy! When we sell 10X more cars than the average dealership, that allows us to make less money per car and pass the savings on to the customer. Everybody wins!
Every make and model
Since we don't sell brand new vehicles, we have the luxury of selling all makes and models. This gives you a better selection of cars than at any other dealership and keeps you from having to drive to 3 or 4 different places to test drive cars. We can carry everything from a Toyota Prius to a Ford F-350 Super Duty, as well as luxury cars from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi or Lexus and economy cars from Hyundai, Nissan, Honda, or Chevy. No other dealership can compete with our diverse lineup of cars.
